This isn't your typical blog. This is more of a place to post my notes from my current job so I can later refer back to them. I try to take my posts one step further if I can by providing information about what kind of road blocks I cam across and how I overcame them.

Objective

To obtain a position in a company that utilizes both my Linux Operating System and programming skills to provide clients with the highest level of service.

Achievements

• Created a Drupal website for personal use by determining essential modules and configuring them for specific usage.
• Designed and implemented an application using Visual Basic that was used at a corporate level that reconciled daily deposits
• Automated a PERL script that would remove DNS records that the domain no longer reference from a Name Server.
• Quickly found and isolated malicious files and processes after a compromise of our server was discovered.
• Assisted in deploying, configuring, and securing of a hosting server that provided web services such as HTTP, FTP, and mail.
• Contributed to the open source community by discovering bugs and submitting patches.
